Desired Skills and Experience
Key Requirements:
- Degree business informatics / mathematics / computer science / engineering or similar; Ph.D. / Dr. is an advantage
- Project experience with applications in an industrial environments (ideally >3 years)
- High analytical, methodical and conceptual skills as well as proven implementation competence
- Convincing appearance presenting your analyses to the customer
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within Germany and abroad (approx. 20%-30%)
Toolset:
- Sound knowledge of statistics and advanced analytics including machine learning techniques (e.g. clustering, decision tree, bayesian optimisation, neural networks).
- Mastery of common languages (e.g. Python, R) and frameworks (e.g. Pandas, Scikit-learn, Spark ML)
- Knowledge of tools for data visualisation (e.g. PowerBI, Dash, Plotly)
- Knowledge of data modelling in the Big Data environment (e.g. Spark, Hadoop) – on-premise and cloud-based (e.g. Azure) of advantage
