Quotacom is proudly partnered with a cutting-edge and innovative enterprise software company who are in a very exciting phase of their growth. They are a world leading VR/AR software solutions provider, who are revolutionising virtual solutions and prototyping in the manufacturing industry.

They work with companies across industries including automotive and aerospace, where their virtual simulation products save lives and tackle sustainability challenges through testing performance and safety by using flight/driving simulations, crash tests and more.

They are currently going through an exciting time of international growth and are looking for an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join their new Software Centre of Excellence, where you will have the opportunity to be a key part of their transformation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the cross functional team to maintain and improve build environments for their components and platforms and continuously improve their software by putting in processes and standards such as CI/CD, automation, deployment and documentation.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required Competences:

  • Strong background in scripting (Windows PowerShell, Python, Shell…)
  • Development (C/C++, python)
  • Installer procedures
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Gitlab-CI, Puppet or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of IT asset management and licensing

Appreciated Skills:

  • Basic knowledge in system administration and DevOps best practices is appreciated
  • Speak, write, and present in English
  • Collaborative
  • Good communicator
  • Comfortable working in remote teams as well as autonomously
