About This Opportunity

Quotacom are proudly partnered with one of Sweden’s largest and most respected Manufacturers after they have recently embarked on a massive, global digital factories transformation programme.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing IT/OT Engineer to play a pivotal role within the Manufacturing and Process Development team, one of the most future-focussed, technically advanced teams in the company. You will work with global experts to lead the innovation roadmap. You will be part of a leading initiative to explore and harness industry 4.0 and World Class Manufacturing.

You will also be supporting the business unit’s complete IT/OT setup including infrastructure, applications, and systems. This will involve working closely with other engineers to support all digitalization efforts involving IoT devices, networking, IPCs, PLCs/PACs and associated software. Desired Skills and Experience

Key skills and experience:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • Curiosity to research, validate, and implement the latest technologies.
  • OT/IT Engineering background for manufacturing operations, good understanding of manufacturing process control networks.
  • Experience within OT/IT sphere i.e., network layouts, servers, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, relational databases, switches, firewall configurations and hardware/software configurations.
  • Microsoft certifications i.e., Azure Data Engineer, IoT Developer, Azure Solution Architect.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Development experience (.NET, JavaScript, C++, Python, etc.)
  • Must have strong fluency in English, both verbal and written.
