Our client are on a mission to help researchers, pharmaceutical companies and biotechnology firms make breakthrough discoveries in the field of genomics by providing them with cutting-edge software tools and solutions.

Fuelled by a highly successful series B funding round they are entering into a period of hypergrowth to accelerate operations and capitalise on the $4tr growth market.

We are working exclusively with their Global COO to hire a dynamic and experienced VP of Marketing to lead marketing efforts and help achieve business goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategy, managing a marketing team, and working closely with commercial organisations to drive revenue growth.

Desired Skills and Experience


  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive sales growth and strengthen our client’s position in the biotechnology industry.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals to ensure the effective execution of marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and research, to drive product innovation and support customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive activity, and customer insights.
  • Manage the company’s branding and ensure all marketing activities align with their corporate messaging and values.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and thought leaders.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

The ideal profile will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the biotechnology industry and its key players, including regulatory, ethical, and legal frameworks.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret market research data to inform marketing decisions.
