About This Opportunity

As a result of their continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Controller to strengthen their team. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities and for providing strategic financial insight to support decision- making at the highest levels of the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Report to the CFO and work hand in hand with colleagues from global functions and regional finance departments in different countries.
  • Define, implement, and develop controlling processes to ensure proper timing and execution, while managing the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organisational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including C-Level executives and Profit Center Leads.
  • Define and introduce new business KPIs, including special KPI reports, ad-hoc deep-dives, and special analyses of performance-relevant topics.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a proven track record in controlling, ideally within an international setting, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and utilisation of a Business Intelligence (BI) tool.
  • Strong project management capabilities, skilled in guiding teams, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Outstanding communication skills coupled with a strong problem-solving ability to analyse complex issues and deliver solutions within deadlines.
  • Fluent in both German and English, ensuring effective communication across diverse teams.
