The Brief

From the co-founder of Google Deepmind, Fetch.AI is an incredibly powerful and fast-moving AI Start-up that combines Blockchain technology and AI to deliver services that allow anyone to build and deploy AI services at scale, automating everyday tasks from booking a flight to parking, and all other facets of our lives. As part of Fetch.ai’s exciting growth plans, in line with fast-moving developments and advancements in the digital space, the business had a definitive need for building and launching their second generation AI platform and a host of supporting products. As a result, the critical need for a Chief Engineering Officer was developed. Quotacom were engaged directly by the Founder and CEO, and the Global Head of Human Resources, to consult strategically on developing the profile and consulting data-driven market intelligence to formulate a strategy and execute on sourcing and successfully the right profile to meet needs on both a technical but also cultural basis.

The Results

Quotacom utilised its extensive experience to help, shape and formulate the ideal profile of a candidate to meet the business needs of Fetch.ai and further conducted high- detailed market analysis to identify and locate the best global talent that would match both the technical and cultural needs for the position. Over three weeks, Quotacom were able to source, vet and interview a wide range of potential candidates, ultimately delivering an exceptional shortlist of 5 candidates who were interviewed for the position. Quotacom then drove and supported the interview process, ultimately culminating with the selection of an outstanding candidate whom Quotacom managed contract and onboarding processes with.
